Mac Flynt

CEO/Administrator

Mac Flynt was promoted to CEO/administrator of Baptist Attala and Baptist Yazoo in April/May 2023. He was previously the chief administrative officer for both hospitals. Flynt began his career with Baptist Memorial Health Care in 2020 as administrative director of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. He led support service areas including plant operations, construction, security, environmental services, patient transportation, and food nutrition services. He began his healthcare career in 2015 as assistant program director for the Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) for Millcreek of Magee Treatment Center. Flynt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Mississippi State University in 2015 and began pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2021. He interned with the department of radiation oncology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2013 and 2014.
