Chief Executive at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital and the Columbia Gorge Service Area

Effective Sunday, May 15. Oversees the Hood River hospital as well as its 12 clinics, home health and hospice divisions, and senior care facilities Down Manor and Brookside Manor. She succeeds Ed Freysinger, who stepped down in February. A familiar face at Providence, Vieira has worked at the hospital for 25 years, most recently serving as chief operating officer and nursing executive. Overall, she has nearly three decades of experience in health care. As a native of Hood River, Jeanie has a broad network of local contacts and a strong understanding of the culture, demographics, strengths and needs in the communities we serve. Her leadership and clinical experience will help us advance all aspects of our ministry.
