Chief Executive

Michael Keleman was appointed as the new chief executive of Providence St. Joseph Hospital and Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital on January 22, 2024. He is responsible for overseeing the hospitals' operational effectiveness and performance and reports to Garry Olney, chief executive for Providence in Northern California. Keleman earned his bachelor's degree from UC Davis in kinesiology and a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Southern California. Before joining Providence in Humboldt County, he was the chief operating officer of Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
