As an RN, Fleenor served as the CNO of Llano Specialty Hospital (formerly Southwest Regional Specialty Hospital), Lubbock. His transition to hospital administration began with his appointment as Regional Director for Fundamental, an LTAC company that operates Llano Specialty Hospital. He was later appointed CEO of the facility.
