The Cardiovascular Center of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, located on Avenida Américo Miranda in San Juan, is the only institution in Puerto Rico specializing in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including surgery for both adults and children. Founded in 1992, the center offers a comprehensive range of services, from EKGs and echocardiography to advanced procedures like cardiac catheterization and heart transplants, the only program of its kind in the Caribbean. It is committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective care, training healthcare professionals, and promoting research in cardiovascular medicine. The center also features a specialized emergency room, a chest pain center, and offers structural heart and valve programs.
