Shane Jennings, MD

Alma native, earned bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Arkansas, then attended AUC School of Medicine. He also worked as an EMT/paramedic in Arkansas prior to attending medical school. Dr. Jennings later went on to complete a residency in emergency medicine and a fellowship in hyperbaric medicine at State University of New York (SUNY). Dr. Jennings has more than a decade of experience in leadership, teaching and most recently served as associate professor of emergency medicine, associate program director for the emergency medicine residency, and fellowship director for the medical education fellowship at the University of Kansas Health System Kansas City. Prior to that he was an associate professor at the University of Texas Southwestern.
