Pam Stewart

CEO

Pam Stewart is the Chief Executive Officer of Washington County Regional Medical Center. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau Women's College in 1990 and later obtained her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in 2006. She began her nursing career in Augusta and returned to Sandersville in 1992 as a Registered Nurse at WCRMC. During her initial twenty-year tenure, she held numerous positions including Director of Nursing/Chief Nursing Officer. She left in 2012 for an opportunity with The Joint Commission and returned in 2023, serving as interim Chief Nursing Officer before being named CEO. Pam and her husband have resided in Sandersville since 1993 and raised their daughters there. Her daughter also works at WCRMC, making her a third-generation employee. Pam is passionate about quality healthcare in rural communities and grew up connected to the hospital, with her mother working there as Food Service Manager and Dietitian, and her father involved with fire and rescue.
