Vickie Demers

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Vickie Demers was named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Andalusia Health in April 2023, beginning her role on May 17, 2023. [2, 4] She brings over 22 years of healthcare executive experience to the position. [3, 4] Prior to joining Andalusia Health, she served as the COO of Logan Regional Medical Center in West Virginia, a sister ScionHealth hospital. [3, 4] Her experience also includes stints as interim CEO at Logan Regional Medical Center and Raleigh General Hospital, and CEO at Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, and MountainView Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. [2, 4] Originally from Decatur, Alabama, Demers holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine from Bob Jones University, a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
