Has served as President of Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin since 2020. [9] Holds a Master in Health Care Administration and a Master of Business Administration, as well as Bachelor of Science in Nursing. [9] She has led strategic initiatives and market growth, leadership development, and regulatory compliance while improving clinical services and operations in academic, ambulatory, and acute care settings within several health systems. [9] She is a 2022 Daniel Burnham Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago, a Board-Certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and also serves as a Board member for the Elgin Area Chamber. [9] Prior to her current role, Sheri was the Senior Vice President and Hospital Administrator for WakeMed in Raleigh, North Carolina. [2, 4] She has over 30 years of experience in key leadership roles within the healthcare industry. [2] In her role, Sheri is accountable for directing all daily patient care operations for the hospital and affiliated outpatient service providers, as well as developing, recommending, and implementing site market and growth strategies, executing operating policies, and directing the development and implementation of tactical plans to achieve high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
