Judith Wolfe, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Judith Wolfe was named Chief Medical Officer of University Hospitals St. John Medical Center, effective July 1, 2024. [13] She is described as an accountable and collaborative national healthcare leader in patient experience. [13] Prior to this role, she served as Associate Chief Experience Officer at the Cleveland Clinic for four years, where she led improvements in patient experience metrics across their locations in Ohio, Florida, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. [13] Dr. Wolfe has lectured nationally and internationally on excelling at patient experience. [13] She was a key liaison between the executive team and medical professionals and spearheaded initiatives to enhance healthcare data analysis and artificial intelligence capabilities. [13] Dr. Wolfe also served as Medical Director of the Cleveland Clinic Community Paramedicine and Urgent Dispatch, overseeing clinical program management, referral and revenue streams, and staffing. [13] She is an emergency medicine physician and has published on topics of pediatric emergency medicine. [13] Her experience includes working in numerous emergency departments, including Fairview Hospital, Southwest General Health Center, and what is now UH Elyria Medical Center. [13] She spent four years as Chair and Medical Director of the Lakewood Hospital ED. [13] Dr. Wolfe is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the State University of New York at Buffalo's School of Medicine, where she completed her residency in Emergency Medicine. [13]
