Dr. James Longabaugh

Chief Executive Officer

Served as EMS medical director from 1998 to 2024 and was named CEO of the hospital and Sabetha Family Practice in 2022. [5, 11] He has spent 27 years with Sabetha Community Hospital and Sabetha EMS. [5, 11] He will be stepping down in mid-summer 2025 to relocate closer to family and pursue other opportunities. [5, 11] He is proud of the accomplishments achieved and confident the hospital will continue to thrive under new leadership. [11] In his CEO message, he states they strive to have state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment and believe they can provide this with the support of the community. [8] He notes that few Critical Access Hospitals are able to provide the spectrum of care that Sabetha Community Hospital can provide.
