Prior to his current role, he served in various senior leadership roles in the Orlando Health System in Orlando, Fla., and Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla., for a combined 22 years. Smith has a master's degree in health administration and is board certified as a Healthcare Executive by the American College of Healthcare Executives. He serves in numerous nonprofit board roles and is active in several civic groups.
Graduate of Troy University with a degree in accounting. Joined Troy Regional in 2023 with more than 30 years of experience as a healthcare finance leader. Responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, including in-hospital and clinic services. Comes from Southeast Health in Dothan where she served for 32 years, most recently in the position of corporate controller.
