Michelle Del Pizzo

President, UPMC Memorial

Accepted a new position as president of UPMC Memorial in York, Pa. in late September 2022. Since joining Penn State Health in 2011, Michelle has partnered with leadership in several clinical departments and led teams in Emergency Management and Life Lion Emergency Medical Services. Del Pizzo has been instrumental in leading several important initiatives, including the expansion of Penn State Health Children's Hospital in 2020, a dedicated pediatric emergency department and the redesign of the Life Lion Critical Care and EMS Transport Service. She has also partnered with University Development, Children's Miracle Network and The Four Diamonds Fund and supported trauma teams to achieve both adult and pediatric trauma accreditations. [14]

Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services

Appointed as chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at UPMC Memorial in York, Pa. as of January 2025. Ms. Cain joins UPMC from Corewell Health East in Michigan, where she served as interim CNO and regional director of nursing operations. She brings more than 20 years of experience in nursing to her new role. [16]
