Porterville Developmental Center (PDC), located at 26501 Avenue 140, Porterville, CA, is dedicated to providing person-centered support and treatment programs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Operating on approximately 670 acres, PDC offers 24-hour residential services, including health care, education, work training, and independent living skills development. Our interdisciplinary team, comprising physicians, therapists, educators, and other specialists, collaborates with residents and their families to create individualized program plans. PDC embraces change and opportunities while continuing partnerships with stakeholders. As one of California's state-operated facilities, PDC is licensed by the California Department of Public Health to provide general acute medical services, skilled nursing services, and intermediate care services.
