Named new president of UPMC McKeesport and UPMC East hospitals in 2018. He had served as vice president of operations for UPMC McKeesport and UPMC East since 2014. A graduate of Cornell University, O'Hern completed an administrative fellowship at UPMC from 2008 to 2010 before being named director of cardiology services at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside hospitals. From 2012 to 2014, he served as executive director of children's community pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. Besides his work at UPMC, O'Hern is a past board member of the YMCA of McKeesport and Wilmerding and of the Human Ecology Alumni Association Board at Cornell.
