Peggy Abbott has been with Ouachita County Medical Center for 35 years and was named President and CEO in 2013. [14] She also serves on the American Hospital Association Region 7 Policy Board, the boards of the Arkansas Hospital Association and the Arkansas Rural Health Partnership. [14] Abbott has stated that the hospital is operating in a "crisis mode" due to financial challenges.
