Senior Vice President and CEO

As the CEO of both Memorial Hermann Cypress and Memorial Hermann Katy, he balances his time between the two hospitals, switching campuses midday. Ashworth began his healthcare career in patient access in the emergency department on the night shift. He pursued his education and rose through the ranks, eventually becoming a director. He was previously Senior Vice President and CEO for TIRR Memorial Hermann and Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital – Katy. Ashworth holds a bachelor's degree from Le Teourneau University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler along with a master's degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University. He is committed to working alongside physician partners, leaders and employees to improve the health of the community by providing high quality and safe care.
