David Hughes

President and Chief Executive Officer

Resides in Somers Point and is deeply committed to the community. Native of southern New Jersey and a graduate of Stockton University. Joined Shore in 2014, holding roles including CFO and chief development officer. Has been instrumental in ensuring Shore Medical Center's financial stability while maintaining its status as an independent, nonprofit hospital. Has a diverse background in business, casino gaming, media, education, entertainment, credit card processing and charitable organizations.

Has been a member of the Shore team for the past 37 years. Joined the organization upon graduating from Rutgers University as a Staff accountant, and subsequently earned a CPA and MBA degree. Most recently served as Director of Finance.
