Mark Smith has been named president and CEO of AdventHealth Avista in Louisville, Colo. Mr. Smith joins the system from Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare. Most recently, he served as president and market leader for the system's South King County Region and its Auburn (Wash.) and Covington (Wash.) Medical Centers. Previously, he spent six years at Kettering (Ohio) Health Network in various presidencies. He assumed his new role April 8, 2024, reporting to Brett Spenst, president and CEO for AdventHealth's Rocky Mountain region.
