Stacey Vaught

Hospital President

Stacey Vaught has been promoted to the role of Hospital President at Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital (BMH). Stacey began her nursing career in 2006 and has worked at BMH since 2011. After BMH joined the Centra system in 2014, Stacey took on the role of Unit Manager of the Emergency Department, followed by a promotion to Director of Nursing in 2015. Stacey graduated from Virginia Tech with her bachelor's degree and earned both a master's of science in nursing and a master's in business administration. She was appointed Chief Nursing Officer in 2022. Stacey is passionate about serving the community through excellent patient care and community health engagement. She is involved in Centra's Community Health Needs Assessment, serves on the Steering Committee of the Free Clinic of Central VA, and is on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Organization of Nurse Leaders. She also leads volunteer efforts for the Bedford Toys for Kids campaign. [4]
