Mark R. Marcantano

Joined Nemours Children's in January 2024 and serves as the President, Delaware Valley. He is responsible for all clinical operations in the region including ambulatory surgery centers and all primary, specialty and urgent care practices and prevention efforts. The Delaware Valley leadership team reports to him. Mark is an experienced health care executive with roles at pediatric academic medical centers, including six years at Boston Children's, experience leading Care New England's Women and Infants Hospital, and a recent tenure at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital where he was tasked with administrative duties such as strategy, operations, finances and budgeting. His resume includes executive roles at Albany Medical College as well as Boston Children's Hospital and Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. His career also includes work with the startup Exochain and leadership at Meeting Street, a nonprofit. He started his career in environmental law and land use approvals and got his start in healthcare management when a client wanted to run his work by his relative, who was the board chairman of Albany Medical Center.
