Mike Orians is the Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Behavioral Health and has been on the company's Board since its founding in 2006. J. Jim Shaheen is the founder of Strategic Behavioral Health, a national healthcare company that established a chain of private psychiatric and substance abuse hospitals across the United States. Based in Memphis, TN, the company expanded to encompass 13 hospitals in 8 states, achieving revenues just under $200 million. With over 33 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare sector, Shaheen previously held CEO positions at Compass Intervention Center and Coastal Harbor Treatment Center. Beyond Strategic Behavioral Health, he also founded Shaheen Strategic Investments (SSI) and is the founder and CEO of Aloft Behavioral Health. Academically, Shaheen earned both a Master's Degree in Organizational Communications and an undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Murray State University. His involvement in the field extends to several board memberships, including the UT Health Science Center College of Medicine Board of Visitors, the Jason Foundation Board of Directors, the JC Runyon Foundation Board, and the National Association for Behavioral Healthcare's Education and Research Foundation.
