Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), a major component of the Military Health System in San Antonio, took first place in the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council's annual Decontamination Rodeo, which was held on May 15, 2025, at the STRAC facility in San Antonio. The San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC), which oversees military graduate medical and allied health education in San Antonio at major sites like Brooke Army Medical Center and the 59th Medical Wing, celebrated the graduation of 250 residents and fellows on June 6, 2025.
