Matt Hanley, MD

President and Chief Executive Officer (Incoming)

A proven healthcare leader whose 20+ year career includes first-hand experience from the bedside to the boardroom. Started his career as an emergency medicine physician at Centra Health in Lynchburg, Virginia. Progressed through several clinical leadership positions with Centra Health and later Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina, eventually becoming Atrium's chief medical officer. In 2018, joined SSM Health, a not-for-profit health system, first serving as SSM's chief clinical officer and later serving as interim president of the system's operations in Wisconsin. In 2022, transitioned to serve as Market President for Navvis Healthcare. Earned his undergraduate degree from College of the Holy Cross, medical degree from Duke University, completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center, and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Duke University. Maintains board certification in Emergency Medicine.

Stuart Downs, DNP

Chief Nursing Executive

Most recently served as nursing administrator for Northside Gwinnett Hospital. Before that, worked at Wellstar as the chief nursing officer of Atlanta Medical Center. Chris Paravate

Chief Information Officer

Andrei Boyarshinov

Chief Legal Officer

Andrei Boyarshinov is the Chief Legal Officer and Vice President of Legal Affairs at Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS), having joined in September 2019. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida and is board-certified in health law and healthcare compliance. In his role, he is responsible for integrating legal strategy throughout the health system's operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing legal expertise. Prior to his time at NGHS, Boyarshinov served as deputy general counsel at UF Health in Florida, where he provided legal oversight to two academic medical centers and more than 1,500 physicians. His background includes experience in corporate governance, physician relationships, and managed care contracting, and he has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida College of Law.

Chris Bray

President and CPO, Northeast Georgia Health System Foundation

Chris Bray is the President and Chief Development Officer for The Medical Center Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS). He was appointed to this role in 2018, succeeding Nancy Colston. Prior to joining the NGHS Foundation, Bray served as Associate Vice President of Development at his alma mater, the University of South Florida (USF) Foundation, where he managed major gifts development programs. He also held the position of Director of Development and Major Gifts at the Tampa General Hospital Foundation, where he revitalized the employee campaign and led fundraising for palliative care and transplant programs. His earlier experience includes development roles at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine, the Helen Ross McNabb Center, and starting his fundraising career as a Regional Director for the American Heart Association in North Georgia.

Vikram “Vik” Reddy, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Most recently served as chief medical officer for Wellstar's Kennestone and Windy Hill hospitals in Marietta, Georgia. Prior to that, served as the chief clinical integration and quality officer at Henry Ford Health's Macomb Hospital in Michigan. As chief medical officer for NGHS, will help direct the system's quality and safety departments, manage medical staff services, help facilitate physician leadership programs and provide oversight of medical directors across the system.

Bobby Norris, MBA-HC, FACHE

Bobby Norris, MBA-HC, FACHE, serves as the Vice President of Operations for Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) at Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS). In this role, he is part of the administrative leadership team at NGPG. Prior to his current position, Bobby Norris was the administrative director for Urgent Care at Northeast Georgia Health System, as of May 2016. He has also served on the board of directors for the Good Shepherd Clinic of Dawson County. Bobby Norris is also listed as a program preceptor for the Administrative Fellowship Program at NGHS. In January 2021, he was quoted in relation to the availability of COVID-19 vaccine appointments, stating NGPG was offering as many appointments as possible based on supply and staffing. He was also present at a topping out ceremony for a new medical office building for NGPG in February 2024, in his capacity as vice president of operations for NGPG.
