This national recognition is based on over 30 performance measures that assess errors, accidents, injuries, infections, and the systems in place to prevent them. The CEO of Valley Hospital, Ryan Tingey, commented that achieving this top safety grade for the second time in a row demonstrates the dedication of the hospital's team, medical staff, and leadership to providing safe and effective care. Leapfrog's Hospital Safety Grade is a peer-reviewed, transparent program that is updated bi-annually.
