Ms. Schierer brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership and innovation to this role. Her background includes earning a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, as well as holding multiple Nursing degrees. Prior to joining NCH, she held significant positions such as Principal, Vice President, and Education & Executive Healthcare Consultant for Canopy Associates, and Chief Operations Officer/Vice President of Quality at Ziva Medical. Ms. Schierer is also recognized for her rural healthcare experience with the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network and holds several certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Leadership Development Instructor. In her new role, she will focus on developing and implementing strategic plans for provider practice operations, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, and identifying areas for improvement within NCH's provider practice teams.
