SUN Behavioral Health, a provider of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, announced the acquisition of Seaside Healthcare's home- and community-based services division [4]. This acquisition expands SUN's reach into North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, and Virginia, focusing on home- and community-based services (HCBS) for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and youth with complex behavioral health needs [3].
