Served Pipeline between 2018-2022 as Chief Medical Officer and then as Chief Medical Informatics Officer. Previously served in several roles for Emergent Medical Associates/Pacific Healthworks.

Meghan Bisping

Meghan Bisping is the Chief Information Officer at Pipeline Health Network. She assumed the interim CIO role in May 2022 and became CIO in October 2022. Bisping has a strong background in both IT systems and clinical care, with 13 years of experience as a physical therapist. She joined Pipeline Health's corporate IT team in February 2021 as Chief Clinical Informatics Officer, overseeing clinical, departmental, and revenue cycle information systems. Prior to that, she was the Director of Clinical Informatics for two Chicago hospitals and held roles at West Suburban Medical Center as Director of Rehabilitation and interim Director of Operations. Meghan Bisping holds a bachelor of science degree in exercise science and a doctorate of physical therapy degree, both from Marquette University.

Edward Gyimah

Chief Compliance Officer

Edward Gyimah serves as Vice President for Internal Audit Services and Chief Compliance Officer at Pipeline Health. He is responsible for monitoring overall compliance with regulatory matters and leads a group that provides independent and objective evaluations of company financial and operational business activities. Gyimah has over two decades of healthcare leadership experience in Finance, Audit, and Compliance. Before joining Pipeline Health in August 2019, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Howard University Hospital, an academic medical center, and a Regional Compliance Director for Tenet Healthcare.

Lisa Guzman is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Pipeline Health Network, joining the organization in April 2023. She brings over 40 years of diverse Human Resources experience and expertise, including organizational development, strategic recruitment and retention, employee engagement, compensation planning, and benefits design. Prior to her role at Pipeline Health, Guzman served as the Vice President for Human Resources at Redlands Community Hospital from 2016 to 2023. Her background also includes leadership roles at several other California hospitals, such as Dignity Health, California Hospital Medical Center, Olympia Medical Center, Verdugo Hills Hospital, St. Luke Medical Center, and Citrus Valley Health Partners.

Jane Brust

VP, Marketing & Communications

Jane Brust is the Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Pipeline Health Network, joining in July 2021. She has deep experience in hospital system marketing and communications, including brand development, media relations and crisis communications, social media strategy, website development, and community engagement. Prior to her role at Pipeline Health, she held leadership positions at Verity Health, Cedars-Sinai Health System, Keck Medicine of USC, and M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. She previously worked with Pipeline CEO Andrei Soran at Verity Health. Brust also ran her own consulting business serving healthcare organizations, small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Texas A&M University.

Brittany Whitman

General Counsel

Brittany Whitman is the General Counsel at Pipeline Health, where she provides legal and regulatory advice to the Board of Managers and senior management and oversees legal operations. She joined Pipeline Health in March 2015, when the company was known as Avanti Hospitals. Prior to this role, she worked at a boutique law firm, offering outside general counsel services to various healthcare entities including physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and management service organizations. Brittany Whitman holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and is licensed to practice law in California and Arizona.

Downapha Britton

COO & Chief Nursing Officer

Downapha Britton is the COO & Chief Nursing Officer at Pipeline Health Network, with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. Her background includes responsibilities in hospital operations, quality management, risk management, and clinical education. She previously served as the Director of Nursing at Olympia Medical Center before joining Coast Plaza Hospital in July 2014, where she also held the title of Chief Nursing Officer. Britton has an academic background and has been a guest lecturer at several universities, including California State University, Long Beach. She holds a Doctorate and an MBA from La Trobe University, School of Nursing. Britton has been involved in initiatives such as establishing an international service learning program in Nicaragua and discussing strategies for addressing hospital staffing shortages.
