Serves as the executive vice president of UPMC, president of the UPMC Insurance Services Division, and president and CEO of UPMC Health Plan. Under her leadership, UPMC Health Plan is uniquely positioned in the health care marketplace to provide quality, choice, access, service, and value to its members. Ms. Jenkins has held multiple progressive roles at UPMC Health Plan since 1998, most recently as executive vice president and COO of UPMC Insurance Services Division. She is recognized for her strong, strategic leadership, driving growth and achieving quality awards. She has earned national recognition for her work in service excellence and has a personal commitment to community service, having served on boards including Slippery Rock University Health Care Administration & Management Board of Stakeholders, Carlow University, March of Dimes, and Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc.
Responsible for all facets of UPMC Health Plan's Compliance Program, including strategic development and implementation of regulatory compliance best practices. Her leadership accountabilities include enterprise risk management, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, regulatory contracts oversight, and proposal development.
Has 25 years of leadership experience in clinical care delivery and managed care expertise, and leads initiatives dedicated to improving health outcomes through clinical, payment, and technology innovations. He has extensive expertise in various clinical settings and has successfully developed value-based payment models.
