Captain, US Navy (retired). Became Director of Minneapolis VA Health Care System in June 2013. Prior to that, served as the Director of the Sioux Falls VA from July 2011 to June 2013. Received her BA from Hamline University and her Masters of Nursing and PhD from the University of Minnesota. Her research interests include advanced heart failure, qualitative and mixed methods.
