Ms. Davis was appointed to the position of Medical Center Director of VA Maine Healthcare System (HCS) on April 14, 2019. Ms. Davis oversees a comprehensive health care system classified as a Complexity Level 1C facility which provides care to approximately 53,000 enrolled Veterans in the state of Maine with an operating budget of over $385 million. Ms. Davis began her career in 2004 as a health administration fellow at VA Pittsburgh Health Care System, and she has held positions of increasing complexity and responsibility at VA facilities across the nation. [7] She has a master's degree in health administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and a bachelor of science degree in biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. [8] She previously served as deputy director of VA Portland HCS and as interim director at both the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, and at VA Long Beach HCS in California. [8] She was also associate director of the Togus hospital facility in 2012. [9]
