Appointed Executive Director of the San Diego Regional Office in August of 2023. Previously served as Executive Director of the Portland and Anchorage Regional Offices and the Denver Regional Office. Has served as a member of the VBA/AFGE midterm bargaining committee since 2021. Appointed Assistant Director of the San Diego VA Regional Office on October 7, 2019. Leads a workforce of 808 full-time employees, of which 77 percent are Veterans. Previously served as an Assistant Veterans Service Center Manager (AVSCM) of the San Diego.
Appointed as the Chief of Support Services Division (SSD) at the San Diego VA Regional Office (VARO) in March of 2024. Prior to this appointment, he was the Assistant Chief of SSD for 14 years. Began his VA career as a Claims Assistant at the San Diego Regional Office in 2006 and served as a Veteran Service Representative, VSR/RVSR prerequisite and VSR challenge instructor before joining the VARO Leadership Team as the VSC Training Coordinator (Supervisor Veteran Service Representative) in 2008.
Appointed Veteran Service Center Manager of the San Diego VA Regional Office in October of 2018. Began his VA career as a Veteran Service Representative (VSR) at the Los Angeles Regional Office (LARO) in October of 2006. As a Veteran himself, he wanted to help as many Veterans as possible.
Appointed Medical Center Director at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System on March 17, 2019. As Chief Executive Officer, he oversees a budget of $800 million annually to deliver health care services to more than 78,000 military Veterans in Southern California. Leads a team of over 3,400 clinicians and business professionals. Joined VA in 2004 and has served in progressive roles throughout his health care leadership journey at seven different VA facilities and the VA Central Office. Earned his medical degree at Dayanand Medical College and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare and Marketing at Loyola University Chicago Graduate School of Business. A graduate of leadership development programs and a board-certified health care executive and fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Selected as Interim Health Care System Director effective May 19, 2025. Previously, as Associate Director within SFVAHCS, he managed, supported, and oversaw all fiscal operations and patient-facing administrative services. Has more than a decade of management and leadership experience with Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Served as Interim Deputy Director with SFVAHCS since August of 2022 and formerly as the Director for the SFVAHCS' Office of Community Care. Has a Bachelor of Arts in international development studies and a Master of Business Administration in health care management with a certification in health care compliance. Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and received recognition awards, including the 2019 Federal Employee of the Year Award.
