Texas Children's Health Plan has updated its 2025 STAR and CHIP Primary Care Provider (PCP) Incentive Program. The program aims to align with state priorities and quality measures, emphasizing incentives for PCP groups based on performance in areas such as Child and Adolescent Well-Care Visits, Follow-Up Care for Children Prescribed ADHD Medication, Appropriate Testing for Pharyngitis, and Childhood Immunizations. PCPs can earn incentives per member based on performance levels for each measure. The program requires PCP groups to have a combined panel of at least 250 CHIP and STAR members and be actively contracted with both lines of business.
