Serves as the President and CEO of JPS Health Network, a public academic hospital licensed for 582 beds. Has returned to his position as President of the Medical Staff after first serving from 2002-2005. [16] Since 2005, Dr. Casey has been the Director of the JPS Family Medicine Residency Program. [16] The American Board of Family Medicine regards him as the most tenured family medicine residency innovator in the nation. [16] Under his guidance, the Family Medicine program has thrived and ranked second out of 750 family medicine residency programs in the United States for both 2022 and 2023. [16]
