Dan Krause is Senior Vice President – Southeastern Market Area for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Companies, and President and Chief Executive Officer of State Farm Florida. His role includes responsibility for over 4,000 State Farm agents across eight states. [2] Krause has more than three decades of experience with State Farm. He joined the company in 1990 and has served in a variety of executive leadership positions in multiple markets across the United States and over the Life operations area within State Farm. [2] Krause assumed his current position as Senior Vice President in 2016 residing over the southeastern part of the United States, later moving to lead the western part of the US in 2024. [3] He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa and is a 2010 graduate of the Harvard General Management Program. [2] He earned several professional designations including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1995, Chartered Financial Consultant in 2001, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2002, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 2003, and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) in 2005. [2] He currently serves as the Operations Chair for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, is a trustee for the Georgia State University Foundation, and serves as a member of the Florida Council of 100. [2] Krause and his wife, Lisa, reside in Marietta, Georgia. [2]
