Teresa C. Watson, MHA, is the President of Sentara Albemarle Medical Center (SAMC) in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. [5] She joined SAMC in August 2023, bringing 36 years of healthcare experience to this role. [5] She is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, providing leadership to hospital and outpatient facilities' staff, and ensuring the operational and financial success of the medical center. [5] Prior to her role at SAMC, she served as President/Facility Executive at Atrium Health Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC, and held various operational roles with Atrium Health.
