Holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the Medical College of Virginia.

Started his insurance career in a claims office and moved to the sales side in the early 90s. Sold his agency at the onset of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and worked for multiple carriers in various capacities, most recently as the Director of Sales at Friday Health Plans.
