Selected as market president of the Peaks Region in Colorado. He will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives as Select Health enters the Colorado health insurance market. Responsible for working with regulatory, legislative, and business stakeholders, investigating and sourcing new business opportunities, building new relationships within the community, and working with network provider partners. Previously served as multi-state market president at Bright Healthcare, where he had profit and loss responsibility for employer group, marketplace, and Medicare Advantage products for 13 states. Also held positions at Fresenius Medical Center, Leavitt Group Enterprises, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare. Holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
Started his insurance career in a claims office and moved to the sales side in the early 90s. At the onset of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), he sold his agency and worked for multiple carriers in various capacities, most recently as the Director of Sales at Friday Health Plans.
