Her previous experience includes serving as the State Insurance Administrator and Executive Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Administration, overseeing a billion-dollar annual portfolio including the State and School Employees' Life and Health Insurance Plan, State Agencies Self-Insured Worker's Compensation Trust, Tort Claims Board, and State Property Insurance. Spent nearly 15 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi managing customer service and service support for the Children's Health Insurance Program and the State Health Plan accounts. Worked with UnitedHealth Group supporting early MississippiCAN operations by recruiting providers for the network, elevating claim processing quality, and developing external education programs. Joined DOM in April 2023 as Deputy Executive Director of Eligibility.
