Most recently, Dr. Bartholow provided leadership to a variety of health care quality organizations, including Wisconsin Statewide Health Information Network, Wisconsin Health Information Organization, Metastar, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Employer/Purchasers and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Bartholow worked for safe, affordable care in his role as Vice President/Chief Medical Officer for WEA Trust and Health Tradition Health Plans. He also served as the Wisconsin Medical Society's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Bartholow is the recipient of the 2025 Wisconsin Medical Society Director's Award.
