President, Magellan Federal

Ms. Sever is a military spouse who received her Master of Social Work and her Certification in Gerontology from the University of South Carolina. [4, 5] She has over 20 years of progressive management responsibilities as a healthcare and social services executive. [4, 5] Prior to joining Magellan, she was responsible for new business development, capture management, and program development for county, state, and federal governments in areas including Medicaid and Medicare, behavioral health, child welfare, and developmental disabilities. [4, 5] She also led Maximus' health business development division and was instrumental in their work with key CMS and Veterans Affairs programs. [4, 5] Sever joined Magellan Federal in 2021 as the senior vice president of strategy and growth and was appointed president in January 2023. [5, 8]
