Dr. Sassani was recruited to Magellan in early 2012. Prior to Magellan, he held various leadership roles in direct-care services including department chair and hospital vice chief of staff in southern California. In 2017, he received a faculty appointment as associate professor of psychiatry at a University of California teaching hospital. He was residency trained at Harvard, and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
