Michael W. Cropp, M.D.

President and Chief Executive Officer

Board-certified family physician with over two decades of experience. Previously associate medical director and family physician for managed care organizations, and medical director for Millard Fillmore Health System. Joined Independent Health in 1996 as executive vice president and chief medical officer and was appointed president and CEO in 2004. Named executive team of the year by HealthLeaders Media magazine in 2009 with the executive team. Serves in leadership roles on the boards of national health care organizations, including America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP). Founding chairman of the P2 Collaborative of Western New York and Western New York Clinical Information Exchange (HEALTHeLINK).
