Mr. Praveen Thadani has been the President of Commercial Group Operations for Illinois at Humana Inc. since June 25, 2013. [8, 9] He manages Humana's commercial operations in Illinois and Northwest Indiana, including sales and service of group health, dental and ancillary plans, health care provider contracting and well-being initiatives. [9] Prior to joining Humana, Mr. Thadani served as Senior Vice President of Large Employer Relations at UnitedHealth Group's Optum. [4, 9] His background also includes roles at Tiber Group (now Navigant Consulting), MMI Companies, the Rush System for Health, and the Illinois Area Health Education Centers Program. [4] He holds a Master of Science in Health Services Management from Rush University, Chicago and a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. [4]
