Sarasota Memorial Health Care System announced that its agreement with Interplan Health Group (HealthSmart) for Commercial PPO and Workers Compensation plans will terminate effective December 31, 2024. This affects SMH-Venice and SMH-Sarasota, as well as their network of outpatient and urgent care centers, with SMH-Venice excluded for these plans.

He has over 15 years of executive leadership experience, including senior positions at Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy and Medco Health Solutions. He holds pharmacy licenses in New Jersey, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. He graduated from Rutgers University with a pharmacy degree and earned his MBA in entrepreneurship from the Silberman School of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
