Starting January 1, 2025, members of certain Blue Choice Preferred PPO and MyBlue Plus POS individual market plans from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, an HCSC company, will no longer have coverage for non-urgent, non-emergent out-of-state care beyond the border counties of states including Wisconsin, unless a waiver is requested and granted due to lack of adequate care in the member's service area.
