Curt Ladig was named president and CEO of Delta Dental of North Carolina in January 2011. [2] He is the president and CEO of Delta Dental of North Carolina, the leading dental insurer in North Carolina. [1] Under Ladig's leadership, Delta Dental of North Carolina has grown its customer base by 550 percent, attained the largest network of dentists in the state, and become the fastest-growing Delta Dental in the country. [1] He started Smiles for Kids, a mini-grant program that helps at-risk children receive direct oral care services and oral health education. [1] Ladig is active in the community, serving on the Boards of Directors of the Poe Center for Health Education, Leadership North Carolina, NC Chamber, and the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. [1] He was recognized as a C-Suite Award Winner by the Triangle Business Journal in 2020. [1] Before joining Delta Dental of North Carolina in 2011, Ladig was the chief financial and operating officer of Delta Dental of Kentucky. [1] He began his career with Ernst & Young in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served clients in the health care and energy industries. [1] He is a CPA. [2]
Marirose joined Delta Dental of North Carolina in February 2019, as Senior Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness, and was promoted to SVP/Chief Administrative Officer in March, 2020. [5] Prior to joining Delta Dental of North Carolina, Marirose served as Director of Operations with the North Carolina Community Foundation. [5] Before the Foundation, she was president and partner in a consulting firm specializing in search and leadership development. [5] She has served in both large and small public and privately held companies. [5] Her direct industry knowledge and proven leadership includes international software, a public utility, a regional engineering firm and leadership consulting. [5] Marirose is a graduate of UNC Greensboro, with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Psychology. [5] She holds certifications in behavior and motivator analysis tools. [5] She has served in a leadership capacity in a number of organizations, including board member of TCHROA, past Director of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board, past chair of the UNCG Alumni Association Board of Directors, member of the Corporate Board of the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, and a member of the First Year College Advisory Board at NCSU. [5] Marirose completed the Leadership NC Class XXI, and is serving as class ambassador. [5] She received the 2011 Triangle Business Journal's Women in Business award. [5]
