Commanding Officer, Naval Hospital Bremerton

Born in Sioux Center, Iowa, but considers herself a native of Phoenix, Arizona. Graduated from Arizona State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science and earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in 1998. Commissioned into the Navy in 1998. Also earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership in 2016. Served operationally in Afghanistan. Served in various positions throughout Navy medicine. Assigned as Executive Officer for the USNS MERCY (T-AH-19) in 2021. Assumed the role of Deputy Corps Chief for the Navy Medical Service Corps in 2023. Board-certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapists and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
