May 21, 2025

CMS approved Oregon's State Plan Amendment (SPA) 25-0005, effective January 1, 2025. The amendment adds neonatal procedure codes to the conversion factors used for establishing payment rates.

June 30, 2025

The Oregon Health Authority is reviewing a June 6, 2025, request from CMS for additional financial information on Oregon Medicaid members receiving federally funded services, to ensure compliance with requirements for those not fully Medicaid eligible due to immigration status.

June 11, 2025

The Oregon State Hospital received a statement of deficiencies from CMS following an April survey regarding patient rights and governing body responsibilities. CMS had placed the hospital in immediate jeopardy status but lifted it on May 12, 2025, after corrective actions.
