Drew Snyder

Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Medicaid & CHIP Services (CMCS)

Drew served as Executive Director of the Mississippi Division of Medicaid from January 2018 through October 2024. Prior to serving as Executive Director, Drew served as the Mississippi Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Policy Director, and Legal Counsel. Prior to joining the Governor’s Office, he served as an Assistant Secretary of State for Mississippi. Before entering the public sector, he worked as national council on complex civil litigation for private clients in the healthcare industry. A native of Mississippi, Drew earned his law degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi.
