MultiPlan Corporation announced the recipients of its 2023 Rural Health Grants on January 5, 2024. Four healthcare providers were selected, including New River Health Association in Oak Hill, West Virginia. New River Health Association plans to use the grant to expand its Black Lung Clinic services by adding a respiratory therapist/exercise physiologist to help miners be more active and improve their breathing.
